The New London Quilt Guild is a small society of quilters who treasure the love affair of quilting. We are here to learn, teach and explore this artisan craft. We also love to share our unfinished and finished projects with all of you out there. Many of the members in the New London Quilt Guild are very talented and versatile quilters. We are open to any type of quilting regardless of it being traditional, modern, art and so on, we love to see them all because it gives us the inspiration to expand our creativeness.
As a guild we are also big on doing for our community. We are known to make small things for our nursing home residents. Helping out with the schools and pulling together to make a quilt to raise money for whatever needed purpose. We encourage our members to take the time to find a cause in need so we can help out as much as possible.
We also love to travel to our local shops, check out local shows and take part in anything quilting. We even have our own quilt show here in New London that happens every other year.
Lastly, quilting is an art that has past through generations and we would love to see that tradition to continue on to the next generation of quilters. Which is why we welcome any one who is interested in learning how to quilt or is an established quilter who lives in and around New London, Ohio to join in on the fun.
